CryptoPlanes Guide Play game

CryptoPlanes player guide

Everything you need to start, play and cash out, with the numbers the game uses today and the risks of playing.

Risk warning. CryptoPlanes is a play-to-earn game and involves real financial risk. The value of the token can fall to zero and you can lose everything you put in. Rewards are paid from a pool that is funded by players, they are not guaranteed and they can be reduced. Nothing in this guide is financial advice. Only use money you can afford to lose.

1. What is CryptoPlanes

CryptoPlanes is a recreation of the browser game of the same name, a play-to-earn game that ran on the BNB Chain in 2021–2022 and was discontinued. This version was rebuilt with the permission of the original owners and now runs only on Solana. The game currency is backed by an SPL token launched on pump.fun: 1 token = 1 CPAN inside the game.

You open a blind box to get a plane, race it in Training mode to earn CPAN and EXP, and can then sell planes in the marketplace, stake CPAN, buy lottery tickets, bet on Phoenix vs Fishie and buy shares of airports.

Prices, fees, prizes and limits are set in CPAN and follow the token's market price: every 15 minutes the game checks the price and, when it has moved, adjusts them, so the amounts you see in the game and in this guide are the current ones. Your balance never changes with this: 1 CPAN is always 1 token.

Be honest with yourself about the risk. Play-to-earn is not a salary and not a savings account. The rewards come from a reward pool that is fed by a part of what players pay for blind boxes and fees. If fewer people buy, there is less to pay. The price of the token can go to zero. Planes can lose their value. Withdrawals can be delayed, limited or paused. This guide explains how the game works; it is not financial advice.

2. Getting started

  1. Install a Solana wallet. The game works with Phantom, Solflare, Backpack and MetaMask (with a Solana account). Install it from its official site only, as a browser extension or as a phone app, and write down the secret recovery phrase on paper.
On a phone, open CryptoPlanes inside the browser of your wallet app: in the window to connect the wallet, tap Open in app next to your wallet.
  2. Get some SOL. Every transaction on Solana costs a small network fee paid in SOL. Keep a little SOL in the wallet for the deposit (and for any other transaction you sign). The login does not cost SOL.
  3. Buy the token on pump.fun. Use the game link /token: it always redirects to the pump.fun page of the real token. Do not search for the name on your own: anyone can create a token with the same name (see section 7).
  4. Connect. Open /play/ and press Connect Wallet. Choose your wallet.
  5. Sign the login message. Your wallet shows a message that starts with the text I am signing to CryptoPlanes, the game address, your wallet address and a one-time code that expires in 5 minutes. Signing it only proves that the wallet is yours.
    • It is a signature, not a transaction. It moves nothing and costs nothing.
    • Check that the website address in the message is the one you are using.
    • Never share your secret recovery phrase (seed phrase) or private key. The game, the team and the wallet will never ask for it. Anyone who has it can take everything in your wallet.

Your account is your wallet address. The session stays open while you use the game, it expires after 30 days without use and, in any case, 90 days after you signed in; then you sign in again. If your wallet account changes you are asked to sign in again.

3. Deposit

Deposit only with the in-game button. Use DEPOSIT in Account Information. Tokens sent straight to the treasury address from a wallet or an exchange are not credited automatically.

How it works

  1. Open Account Information and press DEPOSIT.
  2. Type the amount. The minimum is 5,220 CPAN and the maximum is 5,220,000,000 CPAN per deposit.
  3. Your wallet asks you to approve a transaction: a transfer of the token from your wallet to the game treasury, with a small note (memo) that identifies the deposit. Unlike the login, this one moves tokens and costs a small SOL network fee. Approve it within 60 seconds, or the request expires and you can ask again.
  4. The game waits until Solana marks the transaction as finalized, which is the final confirmation. It usually takes well under a minute, but it can take longer when the network is busy. Then your balance is credited with the amount the treasury actually received.

The deposit must be sent from the same wallet you logged in with. While it is waiting you see Depositing... Waiting for the Solana network to confirm your transfer... If it takes long, wait a moment and use the Check button: Your deposit is still being confirmed. Use the Check button in a moment.

If a deposit failed because the transaction expired, but it did reach the network later, the game looks at it again when you open your history, for up to 48 hours.

I sent the tokens directly to the treasury address

  • Do not send them again. The tokens are not lost, but nothing is credited automatically: they need a manual review by support.
  • Contact support (see section 7) with your wallet address, the amount and the transaction signature (you can copy it from Solscan). Review is manual, so it takes longer than a normal deposit.
  • Send only the game token. Other tokens, or SOL, sent to the treasury are not credited.

4. Playing

Blind box and plane rarities

A blind box costs 3,130,000 CPAN. It gives a random plane. An account can open up to 50 planes (You can only open upto 50 planes).

Power, speed and air are the stats of the plane. In a race, the strength of a plane is roughly (air + power) / 2 + speed, with some luck added, and items add to the stats. Stats are rolled inside the ranges above when the box opens. The planes of each rarity are:

Planes gain EXP in every race and level up (the maximum level is 40).

Fuel and races per day

Each race uses 15 fuel and a plane needs at least 15 fuel to race. The tank size depends on the rarity, so Classic and Common planes do 3 races per day, Super planes 4 and Rare planes 5. Press REFUEL to fill the tank: it costs 10,400 CPAN per plane and can be done once every 24 hours. A plane that is staking cannot race.

Training race and Quick Training

In a Training race (GO) your plane runs against other planes (5 planes race together; the others are planes of other players, or bots). The reward depends on the position:

PositionCPAN rewardEXP (Classic, Common)EXP (Super)EXP (Rare)
152,200300240201
239,200250200167.5
326,100200160134
418,300150120100.5
501008067

The EXP is added to the plane at once. The CPAN goes to the locked rewards (below).

Quick Training runs all the races your fuel allows in one go, for a fee of 5,220 CPAN per use.

Rewards are locked, and the claim fee

CPAN won in races is locked and grouped by UTC day. You can press Claim at any time, but claiming early costs a fee, which starts at 10% on the day of the race and drops by 5 points every day until it reaches 0% after 2 days:

Days since the race (UTC)Claim fee
010%
15%
20%

30% of the fee goes back to the reward pool and the rest to the house account. EXP is never locked.

Repair

Planes wear out. Every plane has to be fixed regularly with Fix, which costs 104,000 CPAN: every 7 days for Classic and Common, every 10 days for Super and Rare, every 14 days for Legendary. A plane that is not fixed cannot race (Your plane needs to be fixed before training).

Items

The ITEM BOX costs 522,000 CPAN and may drop an item. When it does, the rarity is Common (60%), Rare (30%) or Epic (10%). Items are attached to a plane and add to its stats:

ItemRarityBoostsBonus
Green PropellerCommonSpeed+4
Blue RocketCommonPower+6
Blue PropellerRareSpeed+8
Red MissileRarePower+12
Fuel TankRareFuel+15
Purple PropellerEpicSpeed+12
Space ShuttleEpicAir+20

A new plane has 1 slot for items and can open up to 3 (opening a slot costs 261,000 CPAN; removing an item costs 104,000 CPAN). The Fuel Tank only works on planes of level 20 or more.

Upgrades

Each plane can be upgraded from its card with Upgrade. The engine adds speed and the weapons add power in races; the body adds 12 hours between two repairs per level. Each level costs parts of its kind plus a fee. Parts cost 26,100 CPAN each in Buy parts, or you can Salvage an item of your inventory into parts. Of everything spent on upgrades, 30% goes to the reward pool and the rest to the house account.

UpgradePartsEach level addsLevel 1 costsTo the top, CPAN (Classic / Super / Rare)

BodyBody parts+12 h of durability12 parts + 78,300 CPAN6,890,000 / 9,480,000 / 12,600,000

The top level is 6 for Classic and Common, 7 for Super and 8 for Rare, and the higher levels need a plane of a higher level (level 6 of an upgrade needs a plane of level 12, level 8 needs level 20). A fully upgraded plane is about 8–9% stronger, so a Classic at the top is still a little weaker than a new Super. Upgrades stay with the plane when you sell it; parts stay in your account and cannot be sold. Upgrades make the plane better; they are not an investment that pays itself back.

Fusion

Two planes of the same rarity can become one plane of the next rarity with Fusion at the top of your planes: Classic or Common become a Super, two Super a Rare and two Rare a Legendary, the only way to get one. Both planes must be idle (not on sale, not in today's PvP) and at the level the recipe asks for, and 30% of the fee goes to the reward pool (the rest to the house account):

Planes in (two)Plane outEach plane needs levelFee (CPAN)
Classic / Common ×2Super51,570,000
Super ×2Rare102,350,000
Rare ×2Legendary153,130,000

The two planes leave the game for good. The new plane keeps the best of the two: the higher level, the more item slots, each upgrade at the higher level of the two and the fuel they had left (up to its tank). Their items go back to your items and their locked rewards move to the new plane. Its model and stats are drawn when you fuse, from a seed fixed before you confirm (the game shows its SHA-256) mixed with a seed of your browser; better planes give better stats (50% of each stat comes from the two planes). Fusion makes your hangar smaller and better and saves refuels and repairs; it is not a way to make money.

The reward pool and the daily budget: why rewards can be reduced

The game does not print CPAN. Race rewards and staking profit are paid from the reward pool. Of everything players buy and pay in the game (blind boxes, refuel, repair, Quick Training, claim fee, marketplace tax, upgrades and so on), 30% goes to the pool (30% of each blind box) and the rest to the house account, the treasury of the team that runs the game. The house share of PvP and of the lottery goes to the pool in full. To keep the pool from running dry:

  • There is a daily budget: 3% of the pool at 00:00 UTC, plus the pool's part of every purchase made during the day, which is paid out in that same day's races. If all the races of the day would pay more than that, every reward of the day is reduced in the same proportion. When the budget is used up, races pay 0 CPAN until new purchases add to it or until 00:00 UTC. The EXP is always paid.
  • There is a daily cap per account of 2,190,000 CPAN of table reward (before the reductions below). The planes of your account that race in a day get, in the order they race, 100 / 90 / 80 / 70 / 60 / 55 / 50 / 45% of the table (the last value repeats for more planes). Accounts that the anti-fraud links together (2 or more) share a lower cap.
  • Your account standing (new, building or established) can reduce rewards. New accounts, accounts created just to play and groups of accounts that look linked (the same funder or the same network) earn less and share one daily cap. Standing grows with time playing. It is never a ban, a lower standing only means less CPAN, and mistakes are reviewed by the team. Using more than one account per person is not the intended way to play.

When this happens the result screen tells you, for example: Reward reduced to X of Y CPAN: (reason). A reason can be: daily limit of 2,190,000 CPAN reached. Rewards, APRs and prices are not promises and can change.

5. Marketplace, staking, lottery, Phoenix vs Fishie, airports, PvP and seasons

Marketplace

You can sell a plane to other players and buy planes that are for sale. A plane can be listed for sale right away. The minimum price is 261,000 CPAN. The sales tax is 12.5%; 30% of it goes to the reward pool and the rest to the house account: the seller receives the price minus the tax. Always check the stats and the price before you buy, and remember that you may be asked for a captcha.

Staking pools

Staking locks CPAN for some days in exchange for a profit. The profit is the APR, in proportion to the time of the lock, and it is paid together with your CPAN when you unstake after the lock. Pools:

PoolAPRMinimum (CPAN)Lock (days)Pool cap (CPAN)
CPAN 30 Days10%522,000305,220,000,000
CPAN 60 Days18%1,570,000603,920,000,000

CPAN Launch 120 Days30%2,610,0001201,040,000,000

In the Ticket pool every 522,000 CPAN is one ticket and the lock time is random between the two values. The profit of every stake is set aside from the reward pool when you stake, so a stake is refused when the pool cannot back it (The reward pool cannot back the profit of this stake right now. Please try a smaller value or try again later.). The CryptoGuards Whitelist pool pays no APR.

Lottery

A ticket costs 104,000 CPAN and has 6 numbers. You can buy as many tickets as you want. The draw is every day at 14:00 UTC, and the lottery is locked from 13:59 to 14:01 UTC. 60% of the ticket sales is paid as prizes, one prize per winning ticket:

PrizeWinning ticketsShare of the lottery pool (each)
First prize120%
Second prize28%
Third prize34%
Incentive prize121%

The rest (40%) goes to the reward pool. If you hold no winning ticket you lose the price of your tickets: it is a game of chance.

Phoenix vs Fishie (PvF)

Bet 104,000, 261,000, 522,000, 1,040,000, 1,570,000, 2,610,000 CPAN on Phoenix or on Fishie, one bet per round. The result comes every day at 13:00 UTC, and the pot is locked from 12:59 to 13:01 UTC. The plane with less CPAN bet on it wins. If you chose the winner you get 195% of your bet; in a tie you get 95% back; if you lose, you lose your bet. The rest goes to the reward pool.

Airports and share sales

There are 6 airports (SIN, GRU, DXB, FRA, JFK, HKG). Each plane has a home airport, and the fuel pays the airports: of every refuel (10,400 CPAN per plane), 50% goes to the home airport of the plane; of the rest, 30% goes to the reward pool and the other part to the house account. The revenue of each UTC day is divided among the holders of the airport shares by the shares they held at 00:00 UTC, and each holder can claim it. Only the shares sold receive: the part of the shares nobody holds (unsold, or of an airport whose sale has not started) goes to the reward pool.

The shares of each airport are sold once, in a fixed price sale: 2,500 shares per airport (0.04% each) at 6,270,000 CPAN per share. The sales of all the airports open together on the day the token launches and have no end date: each one closes only when its last share is sold. Until then they show as coming soon. You can buy as many shares as you like, within a daily anti-fraud limit of 157,000,000 CPAN per account. Shares can also be traded between players in the airport market (a seller fee of 5% applies).

PvP time trial and seasons

The PvP menu opens a daily best-time tournament: each try costs 52,200 CPAN and the fuel of a race, a plane has 3 tries a day, and at 00:00 UTC the fastest planes of each tier share the entry fees (the game keeps 10% for the reward pool).

From time to time the team runs a season (Seasons in the menu): a ranking over several days of PvP with a fixed prize, set aside before it starts; it never comes from the race reward pool. Each day the places on the PvP boards score points (25 / 18 / 15 / 12 / 10 / 8 / 6 / 4 / 2 / 1; fewer on a board with fewer than 10 players), you keep your best place of the day, and your best days count. Ties go to the score reached first. At the end the prizes go down the standings, one prize per player (linked accounts count as one); the prize of an account under review waits for the review. A season prize is an earning: a new account waits the withdrawal hold for it.

6. Withdraw

Withdrawals are paid in the token, on Solana, only to the wallet you logged in with: Withdrawals are paid only to the wallet you logged in with.

Limits

  • Minimum per withdrawal: 6,270,000 CPAN. Maximum per withdrawal: 313,000,000 CPAN.
  • Per account: up to 313,000,000 CPAN in any period of 24 hours.
  • Cooldown: one withdrawal every 24 hours.
  • Global: the game as a whole pays up to 1,570,000,000 CPAN per UTC day, and a withdrawal can wait while the treasury is refilled.

Fees

The fee is taken from your balance together with the amount, so the balance must cover both. It has two parts:

  1. The withdrawal fee by amount, at least 26,100 CPAN:
Amount (CPAN)FeeFee at the top of the range (CPAN)
6,270,000 – 15,700,00010%1,570,000
15,700,000 – 31,300,0008%2,510,000
31,300,000 – 78,300,0006%4,700,000
78,300,000 – 157,000,0004%6,270,000
157,000,000 – 313,000,0003%9,400,000
  1. The network fee: what the game pays in SOL to send the tokens (the base transaction fee plus a priority fee), charged to you in CPAN at the token's current price in SOL (at least 522.188 CPAN). If your wallet does not have a token account for this token yet, the cost of opening it (the account rent) is added. The withdraw window shows the exact fee and total before you confirm: Network fee: X CPAN (includes opening your CPAN account). Total: Y CPAN.

Approval and states

A withdrawal is not instant. After you confirm it, the request goes to the team for approval; the limit for automatic approval is 0 CPAN, so at the moment every request is reviewed by a person, and how long it takes depends on the queue. Then the game sends the payment and waits for the final confirmation on Solana. The states you see are:

  • Waiting for approval: waiting for the team. Your balance has already been debited.
  • Processing: approved, being sent and confirmed. You can open the transaction in Solscan.
  • Sent: the tokens are in your wallet. The window has the link View on Solscan.
  • Failed: Your withdraw could not be sent. Our team will check it and send it again or refund it. Your CPAN is safe.
  • Refunded: Your withdraw request was refunded. X CPAN was returned to your balance.

Withdrawals can be paused for maintenance or while the treasury is refilled (Withdrawals are temporarily paused. Please try again later.). Your balance is safe while that happens. Transactions are listed in Solscan at solscan.io.

7. Safety and FAQ

Stay safe

  • The game never asks for your seed phrase or private key. Nobody from the team will ask for it either, in any chat or message.
  • Phishing: scammers copy the game and send links in chats, comments and fake support messages. Type the address yourself or use a bookmark, and read what your wallet shows before you sign. A login is only a message signature. A deposit is a transfer of the game token to the treasury. If a request asks for anything else (for example to approve spending of all your tokens, or to change an authority), reject it.
  • Fake tokens: anyone can create a token with the same name and logo. The game knows the real token only by its mint address. Always open the token through /token and compare the address.
  • Keep the wallet and the browser up to date, use a separate browser profile for crypto, and never connect your wallet to sites you do not trust.
  • Support and news: announcements and maintenance notices appear as a banner in the game under the header. To talk to the team, write to suporte@cryptoplanes.fun.

FAQ

I logged in but my balance is zero.

A new account has no balance. Deposit with the DEPOSIT button (section 3).

My deposit says it is still being confirmed.

The game credits the deposit only when Solana finalizes the transaction. Wait a moment and press Check. If it fails, the game keeps looking for a while (section 3). If you sent tokens by hand, follow the steps for direct transfers.

Why did I earn less CPAN than the table?

Because of the reward pool: the daily budget, the daily cap, the order of the plane in the day or your account standing (section 4). The result screen tells you the reason.

Why can my plane not race?

It needs at least 15 fuel, it must have been fixed in time, and it cannot be in a staking pool.

How long does a withdrawal take?

It depends on the approval queue and on the network. It is not instant. You can follow the state in the withdraw window and in Solscan (section 6).

Can I use more than one account?

It is not recommended. Accounts that look linked share one daily cap and one weight, so a second account earns nothing extra.

The session ended and I was logged out.

Sessions expire. Press Connect Wallet and sign again. Your balance and planes are tied to your wallet address.

Is this the original game?

No. It is a recreation, made with the permission of the original owners, with a new token on Solana. Old tokens, contracts and the BNB Chain instructions from 2021 do not apply: the game's only token is the one at the Token link of the site.

8. Privacy

The game keeps as little about you as it can. There is no sign-up form: your account is your Solana wallet address. The game never asks for your name, an ID document, your phone number or your location, and it uses no advertising or tracking cookies.

Why the game looks at these signals

There is no identity check (no KYC). A new wallet is free, so one person could open hundreds of accounts to drain the reward pool that pays every player. Instead of asking who you are, the game looks at how accounts behave and how they are linked. These signals never ban anyone: at most an account earns less, solves a captcha or has a withdrawal checked by a person, and a person can always review the decision. Running your account is part of the service you use; the financial records are kept because the law requires them; the anti-fraud signals are kept in the legitimate interest of protecting the game and its players against fraud.

Other services

Fonts and code libraries come from the game's own server: your browser does not contact other sites to show the pages. The site goes through Cloudflare, which protects it against attacks and delivers the pages: it sees your IP and the requests to the site. The game reads public data about your wallet through a Solana RPC provider. Your wallet app (Phantom, Solflare, Backpack) has its own privacy policy. The game does not sell your data or share it with anyone else.

Public on the blockchain, and permanent

Everything on Solana is public and nobody can change or erase it, the game included: your wallet address, your deposits and withdrawals of the game token and the signatures of those transactions. Erasing your data in the game does not erase them.

Ask for a copy or for the erasure of your data

In the game: open your account (the profile button at the top right) and find MY DATA. DOWNLOAD MY DATA gives you at once a file with the data the game keeps about your account (one every 60 minutes). REQUEST DELETION sends an erasure request to the team, which reviews it first (a withdrawal under review, an anti-fraud decision or a legal duty to keep records can limit it), and you follow its status there. Both ask your wallet to sign a short message first: a signature, never a transaction, so nobody who gets hold of your session can do it without your wallet. The file leaves out the team's internal notes, how the anti-fraud scores your account (showing it would help cheaters) and other people's data, and it says what it left out.

Outside the game, or if you cannot log in: contact suporte@cryptoplanes.fun. Tell us your wallet address and what you want: a copy of your data (also what the in-game file leaves out), a correction, or the erasure of what can be erased. To prove the wallet is yours we may ask you to sign a short message with it: a signature, never a transaction, and never your seed phrase.

  • An erasure removes the anti-fraud data about how you play (the times of your actions and the hashed IP addresses), your sessions (you are logged out) and your e-mail address.
  • It cannot remove your transactions, deposits, withdrawals and game records, which the law requires us to keep and which keep the game's accounts correct; the decisions already taken about your account to prevent fraud; or the internal audit log of the team's actions. Logs and backups lose the erased data when they rotate.
  • If you keep playing after an erasure, new data is recorded in the same way and for the same time.

You can also complain to a data protection authority: in Brazil the ANPD (Autoridade Nacional de Proteção de Dados), or the authority of your country.
